"The Emancipation of
America" from imported oil
The goal of my administration on an alternative fuel
will be to effect the complete withdrawal of America
from its dependency on foreign oil. By doing so, we will be
lifting a huge burden off the shoulders of America.
Never again will America be saddled with having to deal with
a dictator or despot because of our need for oil. Never again
will America be accused of going into combat "because of oil."
Being free from oil dependency will allow America
to make future international decisions based on "right" rather
than "need." Then as our dependency on foreign oil imports wane
so will the cost at the pump
"The Emancipation of America" from its
dependency on foreign oil will be obtained through the
production and distribution of an alternative fuel be that
ETHANOL, HYDROGEN, ELECTRIC or other. If you are not
knowledgeable about alternative fuels then click on this link,
http://www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/ and begin learning about
alternative fuels.
Cellulosic biomass, dubbed the most abundant
material on earth is the feed stock of one form of ethanol.
Examples of feed stock for cellulosic ethanol include corn
stover, cereal straws, sugarcane, bagasse, sawdust, paper pulp,
small diameter trees, and dedicated energy crops such as
switchgrass. The widespread availability of cellulosic biomass
will allow plants to be built near the feed stock sources which
mean that the plants can be built literally on any site thus
reducing the need for pipelines and transportation delivery
cost.
Cellulosic biomass will also let all
Americans participate in the boom that will follow the
development of the alternative fuel. For instance switchgrass
could be grown in almost any climate with very little care and
attention. It requires only land. No mineral rights and
contingencies or great exploration and drilling expenses will be
required. Anyone can grow switchgrass and then sell it to an
ethanol producer. Switchgrass is planted once and cut once a
year with little handling during that year. Dr. David Bransby,
of Auburn University has been able to produce 1150 gallons of
cellulosic ethanol from one acre of switchgrass. The Building of
plants wherever we want to all across this great land creating
billions of gallons of ethanol will buy back the freedom of
America from foreign oil producing countries.
Higher gasoline prices are coming at us. In the
August-21-06 “USA Today” there was an article on the possibility
of a barrel of oil hitting $100.00. The price of a barrel of
oil is at $96.00+ today. Help me put a stop to this insanity.
Your donation to my campaign of your time, talent and treasure
will help me get elected and when elected my plan to implement
our alternative fuel plan will be started without delay.
This is a plan that will change the way America
fuels its economy. Cheap transportation fuel is what propelled
the growth of America. The freedom to jump in the
car and just go is a thing of the past if we do not do this.
Once an alternative fuel begins to flow a small
portion of the sales price will be used to create a fund that
will be distributed to Colleges and Universities, an not handled
by a government bureaucracy, for the research and development in
the manufacturing and use of alternative fuels in an effort to
make its use a more economical and efficient product..
Your first pay back for your
donation will be the warm fuzzy feeling from knowing that never
again will America be held hostage to foreign oil
imports. Second, as the production and use of alternative fuels
spreads, the air that you and I breathe will become cleaner and
cleaner. Lastly, I believe we can produce a more economical
transportation fuel than is currently being produced which will
mean that you feel the weight of more money in your pockets.
"In the U.S. we depend on our transportation systems to
move food, people, and virtually everything produced or sold
within our borders. Over 97 percent of our transportation system
relies on oil, consuming two-thirds of all the oil we use. This
reliance on oil makes our economy vulnerable to market
disruptions and price shocks and adds $200 billion a year to our
trade deficit. It also poses a security threat because most of
the world's oil is located in unfriendly and unstable parts of
the world. Replacing oil with renewable fuels will reduce these
risks and ensure long-term availability of fuels to meet U.S.
energy needs. Currently the U.S. imports nearly 57 percent of
its oil, and imports could reach 70 percent by 2025 predicts the
Energy Information Administration. Two-thirds of the entire
world’s oil is located in the Middle East (vs. just 2% in the
U.S.). This dependence puts us in a very vulnerable position
with countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran.
On the international level, the rapid growth of
countries such as India and China will increase demand and
competition for oil. New resources are not being brought into
the marketplace quickly enough to meet this growing demand.
Geopolitical and macroeconomic stability are at stake as more
countries become increasingly dependent on oil in a few regions.
The war in Iraq and the looming Iran issue can pose threats to
supplies, affect world oil prices, and act as flashpoints for
larger conflicts over energy. As a result, the U.S. is
vulnerable to price increases and supply disruptions that may
result from political instability or terrorism.
A readily available ethanol source will be insulated
from international market uncertainty and will not rely on
lengthy supply chains or unstable producing nations. By relying
more on ethanol produced domestically is a win-win situation for
the U.S."
An
alternative fuel will return to you money in ways other than at
the pump. As the uses of oil plummets so will its wide spread
price affects on most everything you use in your day to day
life. Won’t you join me in
“The Emancipation of America” from the slavery of
imported oil? All you have to do to be a part of this historic
action is to send me to Washington as your next president.
There
are forces out there that will want to throw up road blocks to
try and thwart my election. I will not only need your financial
support but I will need you and your talents to help elect me.

from those forces that will want to stop this unaffiliated
candidate from becoming your next president.
One last thought. When we have “Emancipated
America” from foreign oil imports those nations that use
their profits from oil to fund terrorism activities will no
longer have the where with all to continue funding the killing
of innocent people and the development of “Weapons of Mass
Destruction.” So, don't miss out on your chance to be a part of
this contemporary historic election. Your donation of your time,
talent and treasure will help liberate America and
your pocket books from foreign oil imports.
