Never Fill Out a Tax Form Again!

“Freedom in economic arrangements is itself a component of freedom broadly understood, so economic freedom is an end in itself….   Economic freedom is also an indispensable means toward the achievement of political freedom,” so said Milton Friedman, in his “Capitalism and Freedom.”   

When our forefathers stood up to the King of England, their principal desire was to achieve liberty and happiness.  In the broad terms, they were seeking FREEDOM, freedom from the oppression that is brought on by taxation.

There is as big a need today to be free from the tax man, as there was in the days just before the American Revolution. In those days, our brave forefathers picked up their muskets and pitchforks to show their disproval of the taxes the King of England was forcing down the throats of the new colonies. Their sugar, stamps and papers were taxed, just to name of few.

Today, We the People, their decedents, have as big a struggle as our forefathers did. We have to convince those that we elect to turn loose of the purse strings, our purse strings. 

In the days of the American Revolution, the boot of the King of England was applied by the tax collector and his Redcoats.  The boot was applied firmly on the throats’ of the colonists.  Today, it is the weight of the Tax Code, which nobody understands, and the unbridled threat of IRS enforcement officers that change and mold average American’s lives and dictate their behaviors.  We can rid ourselves of this oppression by electing the right people who believe the tax code and its mechanism have damaged American freedom and made cheats out of everyone.

I am one of those right people. I pledge to you that when elected, my first legislative initiative will be the introduction and passage of HR 25 – Fair Tax Act of 2007.  Within a year of being enacted, America and the American family will be able to keep their own money, in their own purses, remaining under their own control.  With no corporate taxes to pay, those manufacturers that left America for the tax advantages will be begging to come back.  Jobs will come back to America and help more families to be independent, self-reliant, and in far less need of bureaucratic government programs – and thereby more FREE.

            We the People own the purse and its contents.  We have worked and earned the money to fill the purse.  We have elected the wrong people who arrogantly beat their breast and crow about all they have done for us by spending our own money.  These elected people have become comfortable and even demanding when they want more of our money, usually to buy more votes in the next election or to pay back political favors. 

            I will go to Washington with your worn out misused and abused votes to give back to you your government and your control of your money. To do this I need your help. Please send to me some of your time, talent and treasure.
