"I Choose Life"

In my desire to *Return America to Excellence*, I find that America must return to respecting the life of our unborn children.

I often wonder how many Dr. Jonas Salks or Martin Luther Kings or Dr. Warner Von Brauns have been lost by carrying out a shamefully legitimized act called abortion that is allowed based on a statement that cannot be found anywhere in the Constitution.

In striving towards excellence, our country must come to grips with all that the journey towards excellence involves.  All along the journey to excellence decisions will have to be address.  The old adage, “You are only as strong as your weakest link,” describes the result of making the wrong decisions based on human weaknesses.

All faults and weaknesses should be forgiven, but they should not be implemented as the law.   Especially when it is the Nation’s law when the question was and has never been brought before the nation for the question.

Part of our Return to Excellence is, and should be, the perception that our laws illustrate us as being of high quality and merit.  The respect for life, all life, is of that high quality and merit.

For this and many more reasons than there is paper to write them all down, I will in my administration exhaust all measures to over-turn Roe v. Wade, including the appointments of judges that are strict Constitutionalists.

** Excellence defined as, 1) the quality of being excellent; 2)state of possessing good qualities in an eminent degree; 3) exalted merit; 4) superiority in virtue.
